| Mexican Food Festival |
Mexico is one of the world’s richest countries as far as natural wonders, folklore, history, celebrations, fairs and an endless list of attractions go, that would leave one wanting for more.
Unfortunately not many people in India know how similar our culture is to the Mexican culture. Mexicans enjoy their food, music, dances and festivals just as much as people in India do theirs.
This year we have a great opportunity to expose the Indian people to the Mexican culture. The Mexican Embassy has consented to extend its fullest cooperation to Kalavarnam in bringing Mexican performers to India and organizing various cultural activities that will give the Indian people an opportunity to not only learn more about and enjoy the Mexican culture but also to see how similar both these cultures are.
Mexico is a Fiesta
Be it Mexico or India, people love their food, music and dance. What better way then, than to bring these two cultures together on this common ground and give the Indian people an opportunity to enjoy the Mexican cuisine while listening to their music and watching their dancers perform. Hence the idea for a Food Festival.
A touch of Mexican décor, waiters and waitresses wearing Mexican costumes, music and dance performances by artists specially invited from mexico and volla!
