Kalavarnam is a Delhi based organization, run by a dedicated group of artists, from various fields of art and culture such as music, dance, theater, etc.,working incessantly towards the promotion of Indian artists and culture within and outside India. Founded in 1997, Kalavarnam as trained and promoted thousands of young artists from India and abroad.
As followers of art and with the help of Kala Sangam, its sister concern in Paris, France, Kalavarnam has further taken the initiative to show glimpses of Indian performing and visual art forms not only through the length and breadth of India but also other countries. We aim to promote research, documentation and dissemination of traditional arts, crafts music and dances of India and to revive and patronize the old and dying art forms.
We also help in providing a forum for cultural exchange with international communities and countries, in order to create greater awareness among common people about other races and cultures and to draw parallelisms between the myriad art forms of various regions of the world; most of the art forms have steamed from the Indian culture. |
